Wave nature of electron and wave particle duality
Everyone knows the wave like behavior of fast moving
electrons. Actually what is the exact reason behind this? My studies indicate
that electron has a standing electric field and magnetic field at right angle.
Because of its standing fields, fast moving electrons cannot travel in a
straight line.This is the reason for the wave like behavior of electrons.
Accelerated electrons make oscillations in their path. Wavelength of an
electron is depends on its kinetic energy. When fast moving electrons allow
striking on a surface, they make interference patterns like waves.In reality,
electrons are simply particles.This simple finding has a high impact on many
of our present day beliefs.For example, matter wave, standing wave, wave
mechanics, wave particle duality of particles etc.
